Packaging Technician (B-Crew) (5:45pm-6:15am) - B

This role at our packaging facility ensures smooth operations, from setup to maintenance, contributing to the success of our products.
Essential Job Duties
- Leads team in line setup and changeover of product, identifying critical controls and addressing issues.
- Provides production run sheets to packaging machine operators and updates production system.
- Maintains raw material inventory and communicates discrepancies.
- Sets up and operates multiple machines, troubleshooting and making minor adjustments.
- Aids in keeping the production line running smoothly and ensuring clear areas.
- Monitors weights and product appearance, assisting with quality control.
- Maintains GMP, PPE, safety, and quality policies, supporting continuous improvement initiatives.
- Communicates with Quality Assurance on holds, changeovers, and other matters.
- Supports supervisors in completing daily line paperwork on Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
- Reads and understands machine data, assisting in training new employees and operators.
- Performs sanitation tasks as directed, including equipment washes and wipeouts.

Knowledge and Skill Requirements
- Attention to detail, mechanical ability.
- Able to assist supervisor or packaging coordinator in leading team.
- Good computer skills.
- Clear communication skills.
- Demonstrates ownership accountabilities and leadership.
Education and Experience
A high school diploma or GED, along with one year of production experience in a manufacturing environment, is required.
