About the role
The Packaging Technician assembles bulk-trimmed cannabis and rosin cartridges into saleable finished goods. Under the direction of the Post Production Manager, the Packaging Technician begins the assembly process of packaged cannabis products for resale while maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness, quality control, and professionalism.
Responsibilities
- Prepares packaging supplies (jars, mylar bags, case packs, etc.) at the beginning of each shift
- Begins the packaging process by measuring, packaging and labeling products with a high level of accuracy (trimmed cannabis and rosin cartridges)
- Calibrates the scale at the beginning of every shift to ensure accurate measurements
- Appropriately labels packaged goods in accordance with company policy and state regulations
- Records metrics for all raw material processed during each shift and the packaged output
- Reports metrics to Post Production Lead
- Auxiliary tasks include assisting with Fresh Frozen harvests, managing time efficiently, and supporting internal & external audits
Requirements
- High School Diploma or G.E.D. equivalent required
- Knowledge of the cannabis plant
- Knowledge and understanding of current medical and recreational marijuana laws
- Experience in a dispensary or assembly line production environment recommended
Qualifications
- Minimum age of 21 years old
- Consent to a criminal background check
- Valid Arizona State Issued ID
