Essential Functions

What You Will Learn:

  • Fully supports an interdependent safety culture and works proactively to accomplish the safety mission in the plant of zero accidents
  • Supports and embraces the Quality and Environmental missions of the Plant
  • Capable of performing operational roles in the cell such as running lines and performing washouts
  • Provides operational support to the cell lines when needed
  • Continually assesses the performance indicators of the cell and develops actions to improve L'Oréal Industrial Objectives: Safety, Quality Productivity, with a short-term and long-term vision
  • Assists in facilitating TPM activities
  • Labor System Reporting
  • Inventory Management
  • Coordinates UP activity (operator line assignments, communication of line priorities, scheduling/requesting temporary employees, meetings and trainings)
  • Support staff development to ensure that all cell personnel can conduct production operation efficiently
  • Responsible for 8-12 Employees including Operators, Mechanics & Temporaries and 5-6 Lines on a Shift
  • Responsible for all training, coaching and performance reviews for operators and mechanics
  • Responsible for Technical Coaching & technical training of team
  • Leads & Drives Line Improvement Teams, and holds daily & weekly Intervention for OEE Tracking vs. Goal
  • Is accountable for Safety, Quality, OEE, and Budget
  • Regularly audits Safety, Quality, GMP rules
  • Ensure proper orientation/training of temporary employees
  • Fully embraces a can-do attitude and the drive to lead others to excellence
  • Flexible work schedule

Required Qualifications

What We Are Looking For:

  • Education: Bachelor's degree (Engineering degree) preferred or equivalent experience
  • Experience: 3+ years in a manufacturing management role, like industry
  • Skills: Good written and oral communication skills, proven organizational skills, strong technical skills, and mechanical aptitude, excellent computer skills, coaching mentality, and strong problem-solving skills
  • Authorization to work in the United States on a full-time, permanent, ongoing basis is required. No immigration support/sponsorship offered for this role
