Packaging Supervisor (SACB)

About the role

The Packaging Supervisor will manage assigned shifts, focusing on safety, quality, efficiency, process execution, and team development. They will oversee packaging operations, supervise hourly staff, and lead process improvement initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Ensure in-specification packaging of high-speed manufacturing production lines, including bottling, canning, and kegging, meeting distribution needs.
• Supervise hourly staff, leading onboarding, and succession planning.
• Lead pre-shift meetings, evaluate employees, and monitor production plans.
• Proctor critical control points, identify and resolve production issues, and report incidents.
• Develop staff professionally and maintain compliance with HACCP, GMPs, and other operational standards.

Requirements

• Minimum of 2+ years in a process engineer role.
• Minimum of 2+ years of proven leadership and supervisory skills.
• Minimum of 2+ years' experience in a manufacturing/CPG environment or engineering (mechanical or electrical).
• In-depth understanding of HACCP, GMPs, process improvement, and process control.
• Competent in using Microsoft Office, including MS Word, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, sometimes repeatedly.
• Pass a pre-employment physical exam.

Qualifications

• Pass a respirator fit test if required.
• Strong floor presence and engaging leadership style.
• Experience working in the beverage industry preferred.

Pay

The salary range for this role is between $62,000 and $114,000, with the starting point dependent on experience, skillset, and location. Discretionary annual bonuses and car allowances may apply.
