Packaging Shipping Control

Position Summary

The Package Shipping Associate is responsible for wrapping, boxing, labeling, and preparing machined parts and assemblies for shipment. This position ensures all products are packaged safely and delivered to customers on time.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities

• Wrap, box, and secure finished parts and assemblies for shipment
• Select proper packing materials to protect products during transport
• Verify shipment accuracy and complete necessary documentation
• Label and stage orders for pickup or delivery
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
• Work collaboratively with production and quality teams to meet shipping schedules

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED or equivalent
• Preferred: Six months to one year related experience and/or training
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
• Able to lift and move boxes up to 50 lbs
• Dependable and punctual with a strong work ethic
• Able to work independently or as part of a team
• Prior experience in shipping, packaging, or manufacturing preferred
• Basic computer and labeling system knowledge a plus
