Responsibilities
- Setup, operate, maintain, and troubleshoot multiple types of packaging equipment, including:
- Carton erectors
- Partition inserters
- Product inserters (MPV, VPM, PLU)
- Foil dispensers
- Top closers
- Palletization equipment
- Manual tasks:
- Loading, building, and making boxes
- Hand packaging of bottles
- Loading labels
- Maintenance:
- Perform routine cleaning and minor maintenance of equipment
- Material Handling:
- Loading/unloading packaging materials such as corrugate, containers, or other raw materials
- Documentation:
- Accurately document records of finished goods, packaging specifications, or any visual quality checks
- Perform changeovers of diverse packaging equipment (e.g., case erector, partition inserter, top sealer)
- Apply correct labels
- Perform quality checks consisting of visual inspection of overall product, labels, and packaging integrity for defects
- Maintain high cleanliness standards for machines and work area
- Housekeeping
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 6 months of manufacturing experience preferred
- Capable of lifting 55 pounds and standing for a minimum of 12 hours
- Able to work with multiple types of equipment simultaneously
- High cleanliness standards for machines and work area
