Responsibilities

• Setup, operate, maintain, and troubleshoot multiple types of packaging equipment, including:
  • Carton erectors
  • Partition inserters
  • Product inserters (MPV, VPM, PLU)
  • Foil dispensers
  • Top closers
  • Palletization equipment
• Manual tasks:
  • Loading, building, and making boxes
  • Hand packaging of bottles
  • Loading labels
• Maintenance:
  • Perform routine cleaning and minor maintenance of equipment
• Material Handling:
  • Loading/unloading packaging materials such as corrugate, containers, or other raw materials
• Documentation:
  • Accurately document records of finished goods, packaging specifications, or any visual quality checks
• Perform changeovers of diverse packaging equipment (e.g., case erector, partition inserter, top sealer)
• Apply correct labels
• Perform quality checks consisting of visual inspection of overall product, labels, and packaging integrity for defects
• Maintain high cleanliness standards for machines and work area
• Housekeeping

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 6 months of manufacturing experience preferred
• Capable of lifting 55 pounds and standing for a minimum of 12 hours
• Able to work with multiple types of equipment simultaneously
• High cleanliness standards for machines and work area

• Accurately following all labeling procedures
• Quality checks
