Packaging Operator- NIGHTS

Responsibilities

• Setup, operate, maintain, troubleshoot multiple types of packaging equipment, including carton erectors, partition inserters, product inserters, foil dispensers, top closers, and palletization equipment.
• Manual responsibilities include loading, building, and hand packaging of bottles, loading labels, and performing changeovers of various packaging equipment.
• Maintain equipment through routine cleaning and minor maintenance to ensure smooth operations.
• Handle material handling tasks such as loading/unloading packaging materials like corrugate, containers, or other raw materials.
• Document records of finished goods, packaging specifications, and perform visual quality checks.
• Perform quality checks consisting of visual inspections of products, labels, and packaging integrity for defects.
• Ensure housekeeping standards are maintained in the work area and on machines.

Requirements

• A high school diploma or equivalent.
• 6 months of manufacturing experience preferred.
• Capable of lifting 55 pounds and standing for a minimum of 12 hours.
• Able to work with multiple types of equipment simultaneously.
• High cleanliness standards for the machines and work area.
