Packaging Operator - Night Shift

About the role

Darigold is seeking a motivated Packaging Operator to join the team at our Lynden Washington plant. The role is full-time and union-based, with availability to work multiple shifts, including weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Operation of a 25kg filler, tote filler and forklift operation, in accordance with Darigold standard operating procedures, Good Manufacturing Practices, and all regulatory requirements.
• Able to work independently and safely without direct supervision in a fast-paced environment.
• Able to complete multiple repetitive tasks with attention to detail and must be committed to accuracy and quality.
• Maintain legible, accurate documentation.
• May be assigned on projects in other areas when needed.

Requirements

• Experience working in a food processing/manufacturing environment is strongly preferred.
• Experience driving and operating forklifts strongly preferred.
• Must be capable of heavy lifting (up to 56 pounds).
• Able to work with others to achieve team goals.
• Able to maintain high attendance standards and be trusted with a high level of responsibility.
• Available to work multiple shifts in a 24/7 environment.
• Able to work all shifts, weekends and holidays.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver’s license.

Skills

• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to work independently and safely.
• Forklift operation experience.

$23.38-$29.23/hour depending on skills and experience.
