Packaging Operator I

FreeFlex Bag Packaging Operators I are responsible for the inspection process, cleaning, loading all commodities, startup activities, and the normal operation of the batch. These activities are governed by strict procedures and regulations, requiring a high degree of training and close supervision from the Production Supervisor.

Responsibilities

• Inspection, cleaning, loading all commodities, startup activities, and normal operation of the batch.
• Perform and document line clearances before and after the production of each batch.
• Operate and perform minor troubleshooting of the Inspection Machine (IM) and the Packaging Equipment.
• Operate advanced Human Machine Interface applications.
• Document work accurately and in a timely manner in the batch record and/or logbooks.
• Adhere to SOPs, cGMPs, and Safety Requirements.
• Perform “shadow” training of Packaging Operators II and III.
• Perform peer-to-peer batch record documentation review throughout the shift to ensure accuracy and alignment with Good Documentation Practice standards.
• Ensure compliance with company documents, programs, and activities related to Health, Safety, Environment, Energy, and Quality Management Systems.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.

Pay

Hourly range: $13.61 - $20.05. Final pay determinations depend on experience level, education, knowledge, skills, and abilities.
