Packaging Operator - Day Shift (7:00AM - 7:00PM) $20.00/hr.

About the role

We are currently searching for a Packaging Operator to be based out of Dallas, TX. Reporting to the Shift Supervisor, the Packaging Operator will properly stack finished pipe and check for quality.

Schedule: Day Shift (7:00 AM - 7:00 PM)
Pay: $20.00 per hour

Responsibilities

• Assist with Quality Control duties
• Package finished pipe in proper crate quantities
• Weigh and transport finished product
• Process regrind
• All other assigned duties

Requirements

• Attention to detail, accuracy, time management, and organization
• Adaptable to changes in the work environment, comfortable with multiple competing demands, and able to deal with frequent changes
• Able to work safely and efficiently in a fast-paced work environment
• Able to lift 50 pounds unassisted

Onboarding milestones

• Complete any required training within 3 months
• Develop relationships with the key stakeholders for this role within 3 months
• Become well-versed in Atkore’s Business System and the importance of your role to daily operations within 3 months

Pay

As of the date of this posting, a good faith estimate of the current pay for this position is $20.00 per hour. Placement in the range depends on several factors including, but not limited to, specific competencies, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, relevant experience, skills, seniority, performance, shift, travel requirements, and business or organizational needs and may change over time. Other compensation may include overtime, shift differentials, bonuses, commissions, stock, and other incentives.
