Monday – Friday, 2:00 PM – 10:00 PM
Pay
$21.50/hour (base + shift differential)

Responsibilities
- Ensure compliance with Gehl Foods safety standards and applicable regulatory requirements while following Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs)
- Operate and observe secondary packaging equipment to maintain food safety, product quality, and conformity to customer standards and specifications
- Perform clean, inspect, and lube functions on equipment
- Participate in start-up, troubleshooting/adjustment, stop/reset, and shutdown of line equipment; clear jams and report malfunctions to Business Lead/Supervisor
- Perform changeovers, complete line clears, and set up next item’s packaging and coding accurately
- Apply appropriate labels to secondary packages and finished goods pallets
- Report out-of-standard/specification results to the Quality Department and Business Unit Lead/Supervisor
- Report unsafe conditions or compliance issues to the Business Unit Lead/Supervisor
- Complete handwritten instructions and online documentation, including Quality and Critical Control Point (CCP) checks accurately and at required frequencies
- Maintain accurate and detailed work logs (including Factory MES data collection) and inventory records
- Monitor and review inventory and production levels to achieve efficient operating conditions
- Maintain assigned work area and production environment in a clean, orderly condition; complete environmental cleaning requirements as necessary
- Actively participate in shift exchanges and work team meetings
- Safely operate forklifts to handle materials and finished goods
- Other duties as assigned
Requirements
- 6 months of previous manufacturing, packaging, or assembly line production experience
- Demonstrated organizational and observational skills; detail-oriented
- Basic mathematical calculation skills
- Ability to read, write, and follow written and oral instructions in English
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment under limited supervision
