Packaging Operator B1C
About The Role
The Packaging Operator B3D is responsible for operating and supporting packaging line operations to ensure high-quality products are packaged efficiently while meeting all quality and safety standards. This role plays a key part in maintaining production flow, equipment performance, and team coordination on a 12-hour night shift at the Burley, Idaho facility.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Operate, set up, and adjust packaging line and case sealing equipment
- Ensure products are packaged according to quality specifications and standards
- Lead, direct, and train line personnel to encourage teamwork and efficiency
- Monitor production processes to ensure output and production standards are met
- Disassemble and reassemble machinery for sanitation and product changeovers
- Perform preventative maintenance and minor repairs on packaging equipment
- Inspect product quality prior to packaging to ensure compliance
- Maintain consistent product flow, temperature control, and packaging standards
- Request and coordinate delivery of supplies with forklift operators
- Ensure team members have the correct packaging materials readily available
What You’ll Need To Be Successful
- A high school diploma or GED
- One to three months of related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Preferred: One-year certificate from a college or technical school
- Previous experience as a Packaging Operator in a manufacturing environment
- Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating instructions, and procedure manuals
- Write routine reports and communicate effectively with employees and teams
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced production environment

This role is part of the Packaging B3D team in the Burley manufacturing facility. The team collaborates closely to support efficient packaging operations, maintain product quality, and ensure continuous production flow. This position plays a key role in leading line activities and supporting overall team performance.
