Packaging Operator
Key Responsibilities
Set-up and monitor packaging lines.
Receive product and material in preparation for the Packaging Operations.
Clean and maintain the workplace.
Perform detailed cleaning of equipment/facilities to meet cGMP standards.
Document production runs in real-time and accurately.
Maintain neat and accurate records/logs according to standard procedures.
Inspect finished goods and labels.
Complete technical training profiles as required.
Adhere strictly to department safety rules and cGMP compliance.
Safely operate heavy equipment like pallet jacks.
Comply with all company policies and procedures, including safety rules and regulations.
Maintain a safe work environment and operate safely.
Perform other duties as assigned by management.
Required Qualifications
A high school diploma or GED is required.
Experience in manufacturing or nutraceuticals/pharmaceuticals processing in a cGMP environment is preferred.
0-1 year of experience in a manufacturing or packaging environment in an FDA regulated environment is preferred.
Working experience with packaging equipment such as Shrink Bander, Labeler, Cartoner, and Case Sealer is required.
Fluency in English both verbally and in writing is required.
Basic math skills with proficiency in the metric system are necessary.
Accurate documentation skills are a must-have.
Basic computer skills are required.
Must possess mechanical aptitude.
Available to work any shift, including weekends.
Ability to work well in a team environment is essential.
Self-starter with the ability to work independently and make good judgments.
Capable of handling multiple priorities.
Proactive, results-oriented, and detail-oriented.
Able to lift and handle materials weighing up to 50 lbs.
All work is performed in a manufacturing environment and must adhere to department gowning protocols.
The job requires bending or standing for up to four hours at a time.
