Packaging Operator Apprentice- Day Shift

About the role

The Packaging Operator Apprentice is an entry-level position designed to develop employees into skilled packaging line operators within a seafood manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Shows capacity to assemble, set up, and disassemble production line equipment
• Has knowledge of production equipment and operation
• Maintains production equipment before, during, and after operation
• Continuously monitors operation of equipment and quality of the product
• Complies with company safety, quality, SOP, HACCP and GMP guidelines
• Other duties as assigned

Requirements

• Able to work a schedule of Monday through Thursday, approximately 6:30am-5:00pm, overtime as required
• Some mechanical and/or machine operator experience preferred
• A High School diploma or equivalent preferred
• Demonstrates mechanical aptitude and knowledge of tools
• Displays a high level of precision, accuracy and alertness
• Good decision making skills
• Ability to use a pallet jack and/or dolly

Pay

$18.59 per hour

Schedule

Monday through Thursday, approximately 6:30am-5:00pm, overtime as required
