Packaging Maintenance Technician

Duties And Responsibilities

• Ability to follow the direction of the Packaging Maintenance Leadership team and perform tasks as assigned
• Perform preventive and proactive maintenance activities
• Communicate cross-departmentally to resolve needed repairs to equipment
• Participate in shift change meetings
• Absorb and assist with project work including contributing to needs assessment, process evaluation, project timeline management, drawings, and vendor/contractor communication
• Complete the paperwork required to document the completion of assignment pertaining to the computerized maintenance management system
• Complete assigned work orders through an electronic tablet

Minimum Qualifications

• A high school diploma or GED
• Experience in a high-speed packaging environment, food/beverage, preferred
• Must have the ability to troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems

Selected candidates must be willing to work any shifts, weekends when necessary to cover the needs of the business.
