Packaging Machine Operator

About the role

Snackruptors USA Inc. is seeking a Packaging Machine Operator to join our manufacturing team in Mountville, PA.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities

• Carry out pre-start safety and sanitation inspections.
• Operate conveyor belts and packaging machinery.
• Ensure packaging machines are set correctly and run at appropriate speeds.
• Verify that products are properly weighed, coded, and labeled.
• Conduct quality control checks and record findings.
• Identify and isolate products that do not meet specifications.
• Write work orders for equipment repairs and maintenance issues.
• Maintain clean and organized work areas.
• Support and assist Packers in their tasks.
• Adhere to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), food safety, sanitation, and safety policies.

Qualifications

• A high school diploma or GED is preferred.
• Minimum six months of manufacturing or production experience is preferred.
• The ability to make basic mechanical adjustments is required.
• Independence and quick adaptation to a fast-paced environment are necessary.
• The ability to lift up to 70 pounds is required.
• Willingness to work overtime and weekends as needed is expected.
