Packaging Machine Operator

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Maintain operations by operating various pieces of equipment in the Department such as accumulation systems, jar rinsers, labelers, x-rays, casing equipment, wrappers, palletizers/depalletizers, printers, and lift trucks.
• Communicate with other Operators upstream and downstream of their assigned equipment.
• Expected to be the area Subject Matter Expert (SME) on one of the following equipment groups: Labeler/X-Ray, Casing equipment, Palletizing/Depallitizing, Printer.
• Operate all labeling and packaging equipment.
• Perform lift-truck operating duties.
• Additional duties as assigned by department supervisor.

REQUIREMENTS AND MINIMUM EDUCATION LEVEL

• Minimum High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Able to understand written English instructions and perform basic math skills.
• Required to document qualification to perform the functions of position.

• Meet all requirements related to NQMS (Nestle Quality Management System) and ISO (International Organization for Standardization) standards for Quality, Food Safety, Environmental Compliance and Occupational Health and Safety.
