Packaging Line Lead

Since its founding in 2014, MPG has grown rapidly, nearly tripling in size since 2019, and is just getting started.

Responsibilities

  • Lead daily packaging production line activities to ensure safe, efficient, and accurate manufacturing operations.
  • Verify job tickets, product specifications, first-article approvals, and material accuracy before production begins.
  • Cook up team assignments based on skill level while training and mentoring employees throughout the shift.
  • Perform ongoing quality inspections and hourly product checks to ensure compliance with customer specifications.
  • Maintain production flow, identify bottlenecks, and implement process improvements that increase efficiency and reduce downtime.
  • Cook up material replenishment to maintain continuous production and prevent interruptions.
  • Promote workplace safety by ensuring proper equipment usage, ergonomic practices, and compliance with company safety standards.

Requirements

  • A high school diploma or equivalent.
  • Minimum 3 years of manufacturing or printing experience.
  • At least 1 year of leadership or team lead experience.
  • Experience in packaging, production, fulfillment, or printing operations preferred.
  • Strong leadership, communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to read job tickets, work instructions, and product labels accurately.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced manufacturing environment while balancing multiple priorities.
