About the role
Join the Leader in Trading Card Manufacturing at Millennium Print Group (MPG), a proud subsidiary of The Pokémon Company International. Based in North Carolina’s vibrant Research Triangle Park and Piedmont Triad regions, MPG is at the heart of innovation in the fast-growing trading card industry. Since its founding in 2014, MPG has grown rapidly, nearly tripling in size since 2019, and is just getting started.
Responsibilities
- Lead daily packaging production line activities to ensure safe, efficient, and accurate manufacturing operations.
- Verify job tickets, product specifications, first-article approvals, and material accuracy before production begins.
- Cook up team assignments based on skill level while training and mentoring employees throughout the shift.
- Perform ongoing quality inspections and hourly product checks to ensure compliance with customer specifications.
- Maintain production flow, identify bottlenecks, and implement process improvements that increase efficiency and reduce downtime.
- Cook up material replenishment to maintain continuous production and prevent interruptions.
- Promote workplace safety by ensuring proper equipment usage, ergonomic practices, and compliance with company safety standards.
Requirements
- A high school diploma or equivalent.
- Minimum 3 years of manufacturing or printing experience.
- At least 1 year of leadership or team lead experience.
- Experience in packaging, production, fulfillment, or printing operations preferred.
- Strong leadership, communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to read job tickets, work instructions, and product labels accurately.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced manufacturing environment while balancing multiple priorities.
