Essential Duties And Responsibilities
- Responsible for packing quality product into boxes for shipment.
- Checks finished product for quality issues, as it comes off the conveyor.
- Packs plastic containers and lids of various sizes into sleeves & boxes (0 to less than 5 pounds).
- Grinds scrap material out of sleeves (0 to less than 5 pounds).
- Hand tapes or sends boxed product to the “tape machine”.
- Keeps the work area clean.
- Builds and labels boxes as needed.
- Grinds poor quality product.
- Re-packs product as needed.
- Cleans inside and outside of machinery.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a fast-paced manufacturing environment is highly preferred.
- Ability to work with others effectively as a part of a team is essential.
- Ability to follow standard work instructions is required.
