Packaging - 2nd Shift

Schedule

Monday - Friday, 3:30pm-11:30pm

Job Summary

Primarily responsible for packaging products and pulling inventory from racked locations. Receiving materials into the business software system. This is a full-time position with overtime potential.

Duties And Responsibilities

• Create advanced shipping notices for applicable customers
• Identify non-conforming parts and initiate the Quality Hold Form (QHF) process when necessary
• Affix work orders, which may involve operating a saw, retrieving raw material, and issuing components
• Assist with packaging production
• Receive and verify all direct and indirect materials
• Operate a forklift
• Prepare and participate in physical inventory
• Perform additional duties as directed by supervisor/manager, including assisting in other areas as needed

Physical Demands

• Frequently sit, stand, walk
• Use hand/fingers to grasp/pinch/grip
• Occasionally climb (stairs/ladders), balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, operate motor vehicles or heavy equipment
• Occasionally lift, carry, push, pull 45-50 lbs

Work Environment

Work performed in a production environment. The noise level is usually moderate to high, in some areas.
