Responsibilities
- Maintain assigned equipment by performing required pre-operational, in-process, and post-batch inspections.
- Immediately report contamination risks, mechanical repairs, or safety issues to the Production Supervisor.
- Inspect squeeze cartridges to ensure they are suitable for shipping.
- Check product quality and discard damaged items.
- Maintain a clean and safe work area, facility, and equipment by following routine housekeeping standards:
- Cap or plug hoses and plumbing fittings when not in use.
- Properly store all operating supplies (e.g., raw materials, drums, totes) in designated locations before the end of the shift.
- Remove empty raw material containers, packages, bags, and sacks before the end of the shift.
- Keep equipment clean of raw material residue, chemicals, and adhesive.
- Sweep and mop work areas as needed and at the end of each shift.
- Rinse mop heads and buckets and return them to storage after use.
- Return cleaning equipment to its assigned area after use.
- Participate in physical inventories and cycle counting.
- Assist team members in other areas as required.
- Train designated employees on procedures as needed.
- Participate in safety, loss control, accident, incident, and rework investigations as assigned.
Requirements
- High School diploma or G.E.D.
- Experience in a related field.
- Valid state driver’s license with a good driving record.
Skills
- Mechanical aptitude with practical application skills.
- Analytical ability.
- Clear and distinct English communication (speaking and writing).
- Ability to work with minimal supervision.
- Basic mathematical skills.
- Ability to take direction and apply it to assigned tasks.
Physical Conditions
- Work is physically demanding, involving routine bending, stooping, stair climbing, and reaching.
- Lifting and carrying materials and supplies, typically weighing 50 pounds or more.
- Manual dexterity required to operate tools, machinery, forklifts, and controls.
- Standing for long periods.
Pay
Starting salary range: $17.00 per hour. Actual salary may vary based on skills, experience, time in the role, business line, and geographic location.
Bonus Pay: Eligible employees can earn up to $1,520 annually through a productivity incentive plan, with payments distributed quarterly.
Schedule
1st Shift: 5:00 AM – 3:30 PM, Monday through Thursday.
