Packager - FT 2nd Shift

About the role

Processing finished products for customer-specified packaging.

Responsibilities

• Inspect finished products and discard defects
• Gather packaging supplies to package finished goods to match customer-specified orders
• Print labels to match packaged finished goods
• Assemble & label boxes
• Run product through metal detector to ensure food safety standards
• Count finished products to match specified label quantities
• Label and case finished products
• Complete work orders to document processed finished goods

Qualifications

• Must be able to count product accurately
• Meticulous attention to detail; well organized and able to apply logic to a variety of situations to solve complex problems
• Records maintenance skills
• Color acuity necessary

Requirements

• Requires mobility; physical setting may be in office, plant, or warehouse
• Requires basic math skills, basic reading and writing skills
• Requires ability to see and distinguish fine differentiation in color, detail, and design
• Manufacturing floor setting
• Involves sitting, standing, walking, and communication abilities
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs
• Environment may be loud and dusty at times
• May be subject to temperature changes
