This role is responsible for handling and inspecting finished products for defects and packing them into cases of various sizes for shipment or storage. Packagers will assist Machine Operators in pulling product from machines and properly placing them to the correct boxes for shipping.

Responsibilities

• Lifting up to 40lbs
• Standing for long periods of time
• Check product for quality
• Bend, stretch and squat
• Discard damaged product
• Reach above and below waist and shoulders
• Assist Machine Operators in pulling product from machines and properly placing them to the correct boxes for shipping

Qualifications

High school degree or equivalent

Requirements

• Regularly required to talk or hear
• Frequently required to use hands or finger, handle, or feel objects, tools or controls
• Required to stand; walk; sit; reach with hands and arms
• Must lift and/or move up to 40 pounds
• Specific vision abilities required: close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, and ability to adjust focus
• Noise level in the work environment is usually moderate

Schedule

2nd Shift 3:30 pm-2:30 am Monday through Thursday

Pay

Starting salary of $17.00 per hour + $0.75 shift differential. Eligible employees have the opportunity to earn up to $1,520 a year through a productivity incentive plan (2026), with payments distributed quarterly. The actual salary may vary based upon relevant skills/experience, time in the role, business line, and geographic location.
