Responsibilities

• Take direction from Team Leader and/or Supervisor and follow schedules created by the Planner/Scheduler.
• Complete manufacturing orders quickly, accurately, and carefully.
• Accurately label containers, ensuring labels are clean, free from wrinkles, and match manufacturing instructions.
• Accurately label boxes, including ingredient labels as required.
• Maintain good housekeeping practices: cleaning, organizing, and removing trash; immediately report and clean spills.
• Identify opportunities for continuous improvement.
• Accurately account for on-time timesheets and manufacturing orders.
• Verify batch numbers and product descriptions match manufacturing orders.
• Accurately count containers and place them in boxes or on skids in a safe, orderly, and efficient manner.
• Clean vessels, tools, containers, and work areas thoroughly to ensure no residual material remains.
• Upon completion of a manufacturing order, remove bulk containers, skids, and excess packaging to maintain inventory accuracy.
• Operate fork trucks in a safe and cautious manner.
• Accurately account for packaging or production supplies used.
• Wear appropriate safety equipment.
• Support other areas of production as designated by the Manufacturing Manager (e.g., shipping, receiving, packaging, deliveries).

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Ability to read, write, and perform basic math.
• 1-2 years of relevant work experience.
• Fork Truck experience preferred.
• Must be able to lift 50 lbs. repeatedly throughout the day.
• Ability to work independently or with other employees.
