Packager

Qualifications

• HS degree or equivalent
• Good hand-eye coordination and repetitive hand, wrist and arm movements
• Must be able to lift & carry up to 15 lbs., and push & pull up to 50 lbs.
• Proficient at reading, writing & speaking English. Good attendance

Responsibilities

• Manual and/or automated put up of various product
• Will have general knowledge of packaging equipment which will enable safe operation of equipment through breaks, clearing jams, stopping and restarting machine as needed
• Responsible for quality of product including: discarding obviously defective packages, removing and saving contents; checking packaging for correct count; checking for damage to syringes;
• checking for correct lot control numbers; inserting brochures as required; palletizing finished product and attaching proper pallet card; operating semi-auto tape machine
