About the role
Trane Technologies – Thermo King in Bloomington, MN is seeking a dependable full-time Kitting Packager on our 1st shift. This role is designated as safety sensitive and involves assembling kits by locating, processing, and packaging customer parts while maintaining quality work. You will operate shrink machine equipment, foam and bag machines, and poly bag equipment, and perform Oracle and Dematic transactions to move items to assigned storage areas. Each day presents an opportunity to exceed dealer and customer expectations, contributing to the overall success of our company.
Responsibilities
- Assemble kits by locating, processing, and packaging customer parts with accuracy.
- Operate shrink machine equipment, foam and bag machine, and poly bag equipment.
- Transact required job travelers and tickets.
- Perform Oracle and Dematic transactions to determine and move items to assigned storage areas.
- Maintain a high standard of quality in all tasks.
- Contribute to exceeding dealer and customer expectations.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED.
- At least 18 years of age.
- Able to lift and move up to 40 lbs.
- Previous distribution center or warehouse experience (preferred).
- Strong attention to detail and demonstrated accuracy in picking and assembling kits.
- Ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment.
- Reliable attendance and punctuality, with a cooperative and respectful work style.
- Willingness to go above and beyond job-specific tasks for the success of the warehouse operation.
Schedule
This is a full-time position with a schedule of Monday through Friday, 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. If overtime exists, the shift may start at 6:00 a.m. and include some mandatory Saturdays as needed.
Pay
Hourly base pay of $23.64. Compensation may vary based on factors such as seniority, merit, geographic location, education, experience, travel requirements, and union designation.
