Responsibilities

• Perform work associated with receiving, blending, packaging, reworking, and shipping lubricants.
• Safely operate forklifts.
• Set up and operate machinery including inspection, filling, marking, weighing, labeling, banding, tying, gluing, packing, and wrapping containers.
• Observe operations and inspect/record packaged items for quality assurance.
• Perform troubleshooting, mechanical maintenance, and preventive maintenance as needed; report any issues to the management team.
• Use hand tools, power tools, and specialized tools.
• Follow documented procedures and perform basic computer activities.
• Participate in plant safety rules, policies, and programs.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• Minimum 3 years of manufacturing experience with production, warehousing, maintenance, and/or process experience.
• Ability to troubleshoot and repair malfunctioning equipment.
• Ability to operate packaging and process equipment safely.
• Ability to obtain TWIC (Transportation Worker Identification Credential).
• Ability to work unsupervised.
• Ability to use computers.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Good dependability and attendance.

Desired Qualifications

• Associate’s Degree in Process Technology or a technical field.
• Experience driving forklifts.
• Mechanical skills and aptitude.
• Preventative maintenance experience.
• Production equipment experience.
• Continuous improvement experience.
• TPM (Total Productive Maintenance) experience.

Pay

The starting rate for this position is $30.23 per hour. This position is covered by a collective bargaining agreement (CBA). Compensation will be determined in accordance with the terms of that agreement. Union membership or collective bargaining status may impact the final compensation offered.

Schedule

Willingness to work Monday through Friday day shift, with occasional overtime, weekends, or off-shifts as needed.
