Package Testing Lab Technician

Responsibilities

• Conducts distribution testing, environmental testing, and material testing for customer packages
• Inspects customer packages and product for damage, leaks, and safety issues
• Prepares the package test record and provides general recommendations and feedback to the customer on the findings of the test
• Processes and ships packages for inbound and outbound shipping for both domestic and international shipments
• Repacks or improves shipments that are damaged that must be returned to a customer safely
• Supports proper disposal of packages and materials such as corrugated board as assigned
• Consults with customers to provide feedback on testing results for improvement opportunities
• Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED
• No experience required
• Good analytical and communications skills
• Ability to learn and adapt to new equipment and technologies being used for testing
• Microsoft Office products knowledge a plus
• Salesforce knowledge a plus
• Prior testing knowledge and use of testing equipment a plus
• Ability to lift 75 pounds and maneuver packages of any weight above 75 pounds with appropriate equipment and/or assistance
• Ability to stand on feet for long periods of time
• Valid driver's license required (operating motorized conveyances is required)

Qualifications

This role is onsite in Collierville, TN. Hours are Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM.

Pay

Internal Pay Grade H30: $22.21 to $29.98 per hour.
