About the role
A Warehouse Associate at a delivery station is responsible for receiving, preparing, and sorting inventory for delivery. You will operate technology like smartphones and handheld devices to scan and organize orders, build and transport pallets, and stage items for pickup by drivers.
Responsibilities
- Receive and prepare inventory for delivery
- Utilize technology to scan, sort, and prepare orders
- Build, wrap, and transport pallets and packages
- Receive truck deliveries and handle material movement
Physical & Safety Requirements
- Lift up to 49 pounds
- Stand, walk, push, pull, squat, bend, reach, and work at heights up to 40 feet
- Use carts, dollies, and safety gear, with safety protocols in place
Work Environment
- Operate around machinery
- Work in varying temperatures
- Potential noise exposure
- Dress code emphasizes safety and comfort with required closed-toe shoes
Requirements
- Must be 18 or older
- Able to understand safety guidelines in English
- Comfortable working in a dynamic environment
- Ability to perform physical tasks and adapt to warehouse conditions
