Package Sorter (Training)
Role Overview
This position involves working at a delivery station, where you'll prepare and stage packages for delivery by loading conveyor belts, building pallets, and transporting shipments. The role requires physical activity such as lifting up to 49 pounds, standing, walking, pushing, pulling, and climbing stairs or working at heights. You will use technology like smartphones and handheld devices to sort and scan orders.
Key Responsibilities
- Receive and prepare inventory for delivery
- Use equipment and technology to sort and stage packages
- Transport pallets and packages using carts and other gear
- Receive truck deliveries and handle shipments
- Maintain safety and adhere to safety guidelines
Qualifications & Skills
- Must be 18 years or older
- Ability to follow safety procedures and work in a fast-paced environment
- Comfortable with physical activity and working around machinery
- Good communication skills in English
