About the role
The Signal and Power Integrity Engineer will be responsible for analyzing and optimizing signal integrity and power distribution networks in electronic systems. This includes simulation, design verification, and troubleshooting to ensure system performance meets specifications.
Responsibilities
- Perform signal integrity and power integrity analysis using industry-standard tools such as ADS, HFSS, and SPICE.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including mechanical, electrical, and software engineers to integrate signal and power integrity solutions into product designs.
- Develop and maintain models for signal and power integrity simulations.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of standards and guidelines for signal and power integrity.
- Support the debugging and troubleshooting of signal and power integrity issues in production environments.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in signal and power integrity engineering.
- Experience with circuit simulation tools such as ADS, HFSS, and SPICE.
- Strong understanding of electromagnetic compatibility (EMC) principles and their impact on signal integrity.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
- Experience with high-speed digital design and testing.
- Knowledge of PCB layout techniques and their impact on signal integrity.
- Experience with physical layer protocols such as PCIe, USB, and SATA.
