About the role

Package Handlers are responsible for loading, unloading, and sorting packages in a fast-paced warehouse environment.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload vehicles with packages of various sizes.
• Sort packages according to destination and size.
• Operate machinery and equipment to move and sort packages.
• Ensure packages are properly labeled and addressed.
• Follow safety protocols to maintain a safe working environment.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to lift and carry packages weighing up to 50 pounds.
• Physical stamina and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Basic computer skills to operate warehouse systems.
• Valid driver’s license (if applicable).

Qualifications

• Experience in a warehouse or similar environment is preferred.
• Knowledge of basic warehouse operations and safety procedures.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

Pay

Competitive wages starting at $18.00 per hour, paid weekly.

Schedule

Part time employees work one shift a day; full time employees work two shifts. Shift lengths vary based on package volume, generally between 3 and 6 hours for part time and 6 and 10 hours for full time. Overtime is paid after 40 hours a week.
