Package Handler (Warehouse like)

About the role

Package Handlers are responsible for loading, unloading, and sorting packages in a warehouse setting. This role requires physical labor and fast-paced work.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload vehicles with packages of various sizes.
• Sort packages according to destination and size.
• Operate machinery and equipment as needed.
• Ensure packages are properly secured and labeled.
• Follow safety protocols to maintain a safe work environment.

Requirements

• Ability to lift and move packages weighing up to 50 pounds.
• Good physical condition to perform manual tasks.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver’s license (if required).

Qualifications

• Experience in a warehouse or similar environment is preferred.
• Knowledge of basic warehouse operations and procedures.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

Pay

Pay Range: $18.75 - $22.75 / hr

Schedule

Shifts available from 12:00pm-9:00am, with options for 4-8 hour shifts. An additional $2 hourly rate increase is offered for hours worked from 10:00pm-10:00am. Shift lengths vary based on package volume.
