About the role

Package Handlers are responsible for the efficient movement and organization of packages within the warehouse environment.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload vehicles safely and efficiently
• Sort packages according to destination and size
• Handle and move packages of various sizes and weights
• Operate equipment such as pallet jacks and forklifts
• Ensure packages are properly labeled and organized
• Follow safety protocols to maintain a safe work environment

Requirements

• Ability to lift and carry packages weighing up to 50 lbs.
• Physical stamina and ability to stand for extended periods
• Basic computer skills to operate warehouse systems
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Previous warehouse experience preferred

Qualifications

• Strong organizational skills

• Pass a background check

Pay

$19-$20/hr

Schedule

Part time employees typically work 3-6 hours a day, while full time employees work 6-10 hours a day, with overtime available after 40 hours a week. Shift lengths vary based on package volume.
