Package Handler - Part Time (Warehouse like)

About the role

Package Handlers are responsible for loading, unloading, and sorting packages in a fast-paced and physically demanding environment.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload packages from vehicles using appropriate equipment.
• Sort packages by size, destination, and priority.
• Ensure packages are properly addressed and labeled.
• Handle packages of varying weights and sizes.
• Operate machinery and equipment safely and efficiently.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to lift and move packages weighing up to 50 pounds.
• Good physical condition and stamina.
• Basic computer skills, including familiarity with Microsoft Office.
• Must be able to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.

Qualifications

• Experience in a warehouse or similar environment is preferred.
• Previous experience with package handling and sorting is advantageous.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

Pay

Pay: $21.25 / hr

Schedule

Part time Package Handlers work one shift a day, typically between 3 and 6 hours. Full time Package Handlers work two shifts, with shift lengths varying based on package volume. Overtime is paid after 40 hours a week.
