Package Handler - Part Time (Warehouse like)

About the role

Package Handlers are responsible for loading, unloading, and sorting packages in a fast-paced warehouse environment.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload vehicles with packages of various sizes.
• Sort packages according to destination and size.
• Operate machinery and equipment to assist with sorting and packaging tasks.
• Ensure packages are properly secured and labeled.
• Follow safety protocols to maintain a safe working environment.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Ability to lift and move packages weighing up to 50 pounds.
• Basic computer skills, including familiarity with Microsoft Office.
• Physical stamina and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Must be able to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.

Qualifications

• Experience in a warehouse or similar environment preferred.
• Knowledge of shipping and logistics terminology.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

Pay

Competitive wages starting at $18.00 per hour, paid weekly.

Schedule

Part time Package Handlers work one shift a day, typically between 3 and 6 hours. Full time Package Handlers work two shifts, with shift lengths varying based on package volume. Overtime is paid after 40 hours per week.
