Package Handler - Part Time (Warehouse like)

About the role

Package Handlers are responsible for loading, unloading, and sorting packages in a warehouse setting. This role is part-time and flexible, with varying shift lengths based on package volume.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload packages from vehicles
• Sort packages according to destination
• Ensure packages are properly packed and secured
• Follow safety protocols and guidelines
• Communicate effectively with coworkers and supervisors

Requirements

• Ability to stand for extended periods
• Physical stamina for lifting and moving packages
• Basic computer skills for tracking inventory and managing tasks
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Valid driver’s license (if applicable)

Pay

Pay Range: $20.25 - $22.25/hr

Schedule

Shifts typically run from 4:00 AM to 8:30 AM, Monday through Saturday. Shift lengths vary based on package volume, generally ranging from 3 to 6 hours for part-time positions and 6 to 10 hours for full-time positions. Overtime is paid after 40 hours per week.
