About the role

Package Handlers are responsible for loading, unloading, and sorting packages in a fast-paced warehouse environment.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload vehicles safely and efficiently
• Sort packages according to destination and size
• Handle various sized packages with care
• Operate machinery and equipment as needed
• Follow all safety protocols and procedures

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Ability to lift and move packages weighing up to 50 pounds
• Good physical condition and stamina
• Basic computer skills (optional)

Pay

The starting hourly rate is $18.50, with potential to increase to $19.50 depending on experience and performance. Overtime is paid after 40 hours a week.

Schedule

Part-time Package Handlers typically work one shift a day, while full-time employees work two shifts. Shift lengths vary based on package volume, generally ranging from 3 to 6 hours for part-time positions and 6 to 10 hours for full-time positions. Overtime is paid after 40 hours a week.
