Package Handler - Part Time (Warehouse like)

About the role

Package Handlers are responsible for loading, unloading, and sorting packages within a warehouse setting. This role is part-time and flexible, with varying shift lengths based on package volume.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload packages from vehicles
• Sort packages according to destination
• Handle packages of various sizes and weights
• Operate warehouse equipment safely and efficiently
• Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean work environment

Requirements

• Ability to stand for extended periods
• Physical stamina for lifting and moving packages
• Basic computer skills for tracking inventory and managing tasks
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Previous warehouse experience preferred

Qualifications

• Must be able to pass a background check
• Valid driver’s license (if applicable)
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends

Pay

Pay Range: $19.25 per hour - 22.25 per hour

Schedule

Part time employees typically work between 3 and 6 hours a day, while full time employees can work between 6 and 10 hours. Shift lengths vary based on package volume. Overtime is paid after 40 hours a week.
