Package Handler - Part Time (Warehouse like)

About the role

Package Handlers are responsible for loading, unloading, and sorting packages in a fast-paced warehouse environment.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload vehicles with packages of various sizes.
• Sort packages according to destination and size.
• Ensure packages are properly secured and labeled.
• Communicate effectively with coworkers and supervisors.
• Perform physical tasks such as lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.

Requirements

• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience in a warehouse or similar environment preferred.
• Good communication skills.
• Physical stamina and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Must be able to work early morning shifts.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• Background check and drug screening required.

Pay

The starting pay range is $19.00 - $20.00/hr, with overtime paid after 40 hours a week.

Schedule

Part time Package Handlers work one shift a day, typically between 3 and 6 hours. Full time Package Handlers work two shifts, with shift lengths varying based on package volume.
