About The Role
Green Beagle Lodge is seeking experienced, dependable pet care professionals to join our team as a Full-Time Pack Leader. We are a privately owned company with two locations offering resort-style boarding and daycare, as well as professional bathing and training services. Our off-leash play program is carefully structured to allow dogs to socialize and thrive in a safe, well-managed environment.
Pack Leaders are experienced team members who help set the standard for safe dog handling, operational excellence, and teamwork. In addition to providing exceptional care for our canine guests, Pack Leaders serve as role models by supporting new team members, maintaining high safety standards, and ensuring the smooth day-to-day operation of the facility.
Potential candidates must display a passion for animals, a strong work ethic, confidence working with dogs of all sizes and temperaments, and the ability to lead by example. Once hired, you will complete orientation, industry-specific training, and hands-on coaching to further develop your leadership skills and expertise in dog handling and care.
Responsibilities
- Safely overseeing structured off-leash playgroups while maintaining a 10:1 dog-to-staff ratio.
- Monitoring dog behavior and intervening appropriately to promote safe, positive social interactions.
- Providing daily care for all guests, including feeding, wellness monitoring, administering medications as trained, and maintaining accurate records.
- Maintaining exceptional standards of cleanliness throughout play yards, boarding areas, suites, and common spaces.
- Communicating behavioral, health, and operational concerns promptly with supervisors and management.
- Aiding in mentoring and training new Pack Members while reinforcing Green Beagle Lodge's safety standards and operating procedures.
- Leading by example through professionalism, accountability, teamwork, and exceptional guest care.
- Supporting boarding, daycare, and other operational needs to ensure an outstanding experience for every pet and pet parent.
Qualifications
- Previous experience working in dog daycare, boarding, veterinary medicine, grooming, training, animal shelters, or a similar animal care environment (preferred but not required).
- A strong understanding of canine body language and group play management.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
- Dependable attendance and the flexibility to work weekends, holidays, and peak boarding seasons.
- A positive attitude and a commitment to helping both dogs and teammates succeed.

- Orientation and training classes covering company policies, procedures, dog body language, and behavior.

Pay Range For This Role
