PRIMARY FUNCTIONS
- Performs preventative maintenance on the HVAC, Laundry, Dietary and facility equipment and records all pertinent information on the appropriate logs
- Performs maintenance and electrical repairs on the chilled water system, boilers, heaters, compressors, refrigeration, laundry and dietary equipment
- Completes routine and preventative maintenance tasks in a timely manner
- Understands and complies with all procedures and regulations as related to Fire, Safety, OSHA and Disaster programs
- Adheres to proper safety procedures while operating, repairing or utilizing all facility equipment
- Communicates in an effective and courteous manner with all residents, facility personnel and visitors
- Maintains an available schedule on off-duty hours for on-call and emergency situations
QUALIFICATIONS (EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE)
- A high school diploma or general education degree (GED)
- One to three months related experience and/or training
- Or equivalent combination of education and experience
