About the role

Baptist Health PACE PCA's provides a variety of non-medical services that allow seniors to remain in their home. These services are meant to enhance the quality of life for PACE participants. Baptist Health PACE Homecare PCA's help participants and their families meet the challenges of aging with dignity, pride, care and compassion. The PCA works with the IDT team to ensure the Participant needs and caregiver needs are met.

Responsibilities

• Provide non-medical services that enable seniors to remain at home
• Enhance quality of life for PACE participants
• Assist participants and families with challenges of aging
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team (IDT) to meet participant and caregiver needs

Requirements

• High school graduate or equivalent
• Experience as a CNA, PCA, or PCT preferred
• BLS certification required
• Experience working in a healthcare environment or with elderly preferred
• Valid Arkansas driver's license with clean driving record
• Proof of automobile insurance and reliable transportation required
• Travel within assigned service area required
• Ability to read, write, and follow instructions
• Good verbal communication skills for interacting with participants, families, and the PACE IDT team
• Punctual and regular attendance with adherence to BH PACE policies and core values

Schedule

Shift varies; full-time with shifts that may vary. Authorized 80 hours bi-weekly.
