Willdan Financial Services has an opening in our Temecula office for a PACE Analyst Assistant. This role provides essential administrative support with a strong focus on working with spreadsheets and meeting strict deadlines.
About the role
The Property Assessed Clean Energy (PACE) division oversees the ongoing day-to-day operations associated with the long-term collection of bonded assessments for clean energy improvements to residential and commercial properties. This work demands a high level of accuracy, attention to detail, and timely, knowledgeable execution. The PACE Team is committed to supporting clients by ensuring consistent and effective collection efforts for their long-term projects.
Responsibilities
- Create and maintain spreadsheets using Microsoft Excel.
- Conduct data collection and manipulation, preparation of reconciliation reports, analysis, and other information for client use.
- Collect, organize, and analyze data; prepare reconciliation reports and other client-focused deliverables.
- Efficiently utilize Microsoft Office products, including Excel, Word, and Outlook.
- Work independently as well as collaborate with team members and external sources to research, analyze, and draft reports.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and relevant work experience.
- Previous experience in bookkeeping, accounting, or analytical roles preferred.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook at an advanced level.
- Strong organizational skills with a keen attention to detail.
- Proven ability to manage multiple assignments for various clients, both independently and collaboratively.
- Solid understanding of mathematical concepts, including percentages, percent changes, and ratios.
- Skilled in prioritizing tasks and managing time effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong reconciliation skills are highly preferred.
