PA/NP - Interventional Pain Management - Grand Rapids, MI
About the role
Corewell Health Interventional Pain offers an excellent full-time opportunity for an Advanced Practice Provider. As an important member of the Interventional Pain team, you would be diagnosing and treating medically complex patients. The ideal candidate would be passionate about this patient population. Working collaboratively with physicians to provide comprehensive care to new and established patients.
Responsibilities
- All outpatient
- No nights, No weekends, No call
- Variety of procedures including trigger points
- Experience in PMR, Pain, or Neurosurgery would be beneficial
- 4 - 10 hour shifts possible
- Inboxology Responsibilities:
- Review patient records, messages, diagnostic results, and history to assess their current health status and develop proper treatment plans
- Communication and collaboration with the care team to effectively communicate results, treatments plans, and give guidance to patients and their caregivers
- Communicate with providers from other specialties to collaborate patient care
- Documentation of patient records and EHR
- Complete billable services such as but not limited to: E-Visits
- Participate in process improvement initiatives for the Inboxology program
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
- Nurse Practitioner: Required Master's Degree
- LIC-Nurse Practitioner (NP) - State of Michigan
- CRT-Basic Life Support (BLS)
- CRT-Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP)
- CRT-Pediatric Adv Life Support (PALS)
- Physician Assistant: Required Master's Degree
- LIC-Physician Assistant - State of Michigan
- CRT-Physician Asst Certified (PA-C) - NCCPA National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants
- CRT-Basic Life Support (BLS)
- CRT-Pediatric Adv Life Support (PALS)
- CRT-Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP)
