About the role
The Advanced Practice Provider will diagnose and treat medically complex patients within the Bariatrics multidisciplinary team. The position involves a mix of outpatient clinic work with some inpatient rounding, minor office wound procedures, and primary care in Grand Rapids with occasional travel to Zeeland.
Responsibilities
- Diagnose and treat medically complex patients
- Conduct outpatient clinic visits
- Perform minor office wound procedures
- Participate in inpatient rounding
- Provide primary care in Grand Rapids with occasional travel to Zeeland
Qualifications
- Nurse Practitioner: Required Master's Degree from an accredited program
- 3 years of relevant experience
- LIC-Nurse Practitioner (NP) - State of Michigan
- CRT-Basic Life Support (BLS)
- CRT-Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP)
- CRT-Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS)
- Preferred 2 years of PA/NP experience
Requirements
- Physician Assistant: Required Master's Degree from an accredited program
- LIC-Physician Assistant - State of Michigan
- CRT-Physician Assistant Certified (PA-C) - NCCPA
- CRT-Basic Life Support (BLS)
- CRT-Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS)
- CRT-Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP)
