Patient Population

Bariatric Surgical and Medical Weight Loss patients

Key Responsibilities

• Comprehensive evaluation and management of patients pursuing surgical and medical weight loss treatment
• Developing individualized treatment plans
• Managing obesity-related comorbidities
• Providing pre- and post-operative bariatric care
• Monitoring patient progress
• Adjusting medications and therapies as appropriate
• Collaborating closely with bariatric surgeons, dietitians, behavioral health specialists, and other members of the multidisciplinary team

Qualifications

• Master's Degree Required
• Must be an ACNP, AGNP, FNP or PA
• Must have background in surgical management of patients
• Experience in both surgical and medical management of bariatric patients in the outpatient setting
• No OR responsibilities
• No inpatient responsibilities
• Must be self-motivated and passionate about bariatric patients
• New grads welcomed
