PA/NJ Barred Defense Litigation Attorney

Responsibilities

• Drafting pleadings, motions, memoranda of law, discovery requests and responses, and legal correspondence
• Handling all aspects of discovery, including taking fact and expert witness depositions
• Preparing for and attending arbitrations and trials
• Efficiently and competently researching legal issues
• Communicating clearly both orally and in writing to clients and colleagues

Requirements

• 10+ years of litigation experience at a defense law firm
• Licensed to practice law and in good standing in Pennsylvania and New Jersey
• J.D. from an accredited law school
• Strong knowledge and experience in law, including defense litigation
• Proficiency in drafting and filing motions
• Experience in representing clients in courts, including trial experience
• Able to conduct depositions
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple cases
• Highly motivated and able to thrive in a client-service-driven law firm setting
• Outstanding references

• Location: Hybrid (Greater Philadelphia area)
• Compensation: The salary range for this role is $160,000 to $225,000 or more. Pay is based on multiple factors including but not limited to work experience, qualifications, credentials, and location.
