About the role

The Viv hotel in Anaheim is seeking a dynamic, service-oriented Server to join a team rooted in a strong service culture. Responsibilities

• Seat guests and take accurate food orders.
• Monitor food distribution, ensuring meals are delivered correctly, properly prepared, and nicely presented; maintain an appealing buffet.
• Check station before, during, and after shift for proper set-up and cleanliness.
• Abide by all State, Federal, and Corporate liquor regulations regarding service to minors and intoxicated guests.
• Familiarize yourself with all menu items, their preparation, and service procedures.
• Total checks, present them to guests, and accept payment.
• Assist with bussing tables.
• Perform various other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Minimum of a high school education; post-high school education preferred.
• Minimum of one (1) year in a hotel or restaurant serving role.

Skills

• Team player with the ability to multi-task.
• Effective verbal communication skills.
• Ability to exceed expectations of guests and team members.
• Proficiency in operating equipment such as cash registers and calculators.
• Basic mathematical skills for making change and issuing refunds.
• Ability to work flexible hours and shifts.

Pay

Compensation range: $17.00 – $17.50 per hour.
