P/T Evening HSE Teacher: Bilingual Support

Responsibilities

• Provide individualized and small-group instruction in mathematics, reading, and writing to adult learners and out-of-school youth.
• Prepare students to successfully complete the New Jersey State High School Equivalency (HSE) examination and earn a New Jersey State High School Diploma.
• Provide bilingual instructional support in English and Spanish as needed to support student learning and achievement.

Qualifications

• Valid New Jersey Teacher Certificate in any subject area (required)
• Experience providing High School Equivalency (HSE), formerly GED, preparation and instruction preferred
• Ability to communicate effectively in both English and Spanish
• Experience working with adult learners and/or out-of-school youth preferred
• Strong communication, instructional, and interpersonal skills

Schedule

Monday and Wednesday, 5:30 pm – 8:00 pm, September 16, 2026 – June 3, 2026

Pay

$49.00 per hour (pending budgetary approval)
